Why California Drivers File More Lemon Law Claims Than Most States

Orange County is home to more than 3 million residents and some of the busiest freeways in the state. Heavy commutes from Anaheim, Irvine, and Santa Ana to LA put serious mileage on every vehicle — surfacing manufacturing defects faster than in most parts of the country.

California's Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act gives Orange County drivers some of the strongest consumer protections in the United States, and our local team knows exactly how to enforce them against every major manufacturer.

What Is Lemon Law in Orange County?

California's lemon law — formally the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act — protects Orange County consumers who purchase or lease defective vehicles. If your car can't be fixed after a reasonable number of repair attempts, the manufacturer must either replace it or refund your money.

The law applies to new and used vehicles still under the original or CPO warranty, including cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, and even RVs. It also covers leased vehicles. Best of all, the manufacturer must pay your attorney's fees — meaning real legal representation costs you nothing.
